This volume is a further collection of 25 khutbah. In the first volume, the emphasis was on basic Islamic beliefs and practices and on some fundamental Islamic concepts. In this second volume many moral and social issues are discussed from an Islamic perspective. They also provide some guidance on dealing with problems faced by the Muslim community in the West. Volume 1 was well received and reviewers have praised it. Following are excerpts from a couple of reviews:"These khutubat are useful for audiences in the Muslim world and in the west, as well as in countries like Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh where they can be reproduced as articles in the English language newspapers, journals, and college magazines." (Tarjuman al-Qur'an, Dcember 2001)
" … the collection provides an excellent model of what a Friday khutbah can be like. This small book can indeed help lift everyone's heart and connect it with the sources: The Qur'an and the Sunnah."
