PLEASE ENSURE CORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESS IS USED.
Due to third-party extensions and partnerships with other platforms and companies, no changes to addresses or orders can be made after the purchase is completed.
Please ensure you use the correct details for this reason.
We will try our best to assist where possible, but where it is out of our hands, we are unable to make changes even if you notify us. This also applies to changing your order.
Once an order has been booked, no changes can take place and the customer will be liable for a redelivery fee.
Dispatch & Processing Times
Once your order is received, processing takes 1–2 business days.
📦 Shipping times:
- Express: 1–3 business days
- Standard: 1–10 business days (WA/NT may take longer)
🕘 Orders placed after 9 AM are processed the next business day.
❌ No processing on weekends.
We endeavour to ship items as soon as the order arrives, which is currently 1–2 working days.
Delays in delivery are not grounds for return/refunds, as we use large postal carriers and delivery times are beyond our control. We ask for your patience in this regard.
All deliveries are delivered by the courier except those dispatched to an Australia Post receptacle.
Shipping Rates
For most metro regions, shipping is a flat rate of $9.99.
For any order over $100, shipping is FREE, however, this only applies to metro areas in NSW, VIC, QLD, and SA.
Please note: NT, TAS, and other regional/rural areas are not eligible for free shipping.
Our free freight pricing structure applies to metro areas delivered to a residential or business street address, provided the courier determines it is safe to leave the order.
If the courier deems the delivery address unsafe (e.g., a realistic possibility of theft), a card will be left informing the customer that the order will be taken to the nearest post office. In such cases, Darussalam is charged a ‘carded freight’ fee.
For this reason, we request that our customers provide a safe delivery address.
Carded Deliveries
If you have been carded, please ensure you pick up from the relevant address stipulated on the card before it is returned to us, as shipping will need to be charged again.
Rural, Regional & PO Box Deliveries
Due to increased costs, our free postage structure does not apply to regional, rural, and remote communities, or to NT and TAS. Please contact sales@dsbooks.com.au to confirm if your region qualifies for free shipping.
Australia Post collection points (PO Boxes, Parcel Lockers, Post Offices) may incur a $10 surcharge due to added costs. While we are happy to send your order to these addresses, this surcharge will apply.
In some cases, if the postcode falls under a “distant” community, we may need to contact you regardless of the final checkout. We can then offer a postage price or refund the order.
