Given that the original textbook was written primarily for West African audiences, it covered only the Maliki School of Thought. Moreover, the author has used her wealth of knowledge of other subjects in putting facts across to the students effectively. She has also employed rational arguments in helping the reader to understand the lessons thoroughly. They thoroughly revised the series to cover all major schools of Fiqh, which increases the effectiveness of this book for use, especially in Muslim institutions of the West, where we have students of all madhahib studying, learning and growing up together.
