There are over eighty verses in the Noble Quraan mentioning righteous actions, Seventy-three of which are linked with Eemaan (faith in the Oneness of Allaah). This great number mentioning righteous actions is coupled with Eemaan, resulting in the mentioning of the reward and recompense for successfully attaining Allaah’s forgiveness and satisfaction, happiness in this Worldly life and the Hereafter, as well as a blissful living, attainment of forgiveness, mercy and other than that from the different types of fruits and positive effects attained by the good-doing believers: all of which serve as clear proofs for the status and high station of righteous deeds.

The believer’s zeal for performing righteous acts increases because whenever the Muslim considers these benefits, fruits and positive effects, his diligence, as a result, will increase, and his desire will grow.

“So whoever does righteous good deeds while he is a believer (in the Oneness of Allaah Islamic Monotheism), his efforts will not be rejected.” [Soorah Al-Anbiyaa 21:94]
