Due to third-party extensions and partnerships with other platforms and companies - no changes to addresses and orders can be made after the purchase has been completed.
Please ensure you use the correct details for this reason.
We will try our best to assist where possible, but where it is out of our hands we are unable to make changes even if you notify us.
This also applies to changing your order.
Especially where an order has been booked - no changes can take place and the customer will be liable for a redelivery fee.
How long is dispatch?
We endeavour to ship items as soon as the order arrives which is currently 1-2 working days.
Delays in delivery are not grounds for return/ refunds as we use large postal carriers and it is not within our control where in some instances delays occur.
We ask for your patience in this regard.
All deliveries are delivered by the courier except those dispatched to an Australia Post receptacle.
How much is shipping?
For most regions and metro areas, shipping is $6.99 flat rate.
And, for any order of more than $100, shipping is FREE.
Our free freight pricing structure applies to all metro areas delivered to a residential or business street address, which the courier determines is safe to leave the order.
If the courier deems the delivery address unsafe, meaning there is a realistic possibility of the order being picked up by someone other than the intended recipient, a card will be left informing the customer that the order will be taken to the nearest post office. Darussalam is then charged a ‘carded freight’ fee.
For this reason we request that our customers provide a safe delivery address.
Carded Deliveries
If you have been carded please ensure you pick up from relevant address stipulated on the card before it gets returned to us as shipping will need to be charged again.
Rural and Regional Communities and PO Box Holders
Due to the increased costs involved in shipping to some suburbs, our free postage structure may not apply. Please contact sales@dsbooks.com.au to see if your region qualifies for free shipping.
Australia Post collection points, located at PO Boxes, Parcel Lockers and Post Offices, may incur a $10 surcharge due to the added costs involved in these deliveries. While we are happy to send your order to these mail boxes, this surcharge will apply in order to subsidise these costs.
In some instances if the postcode falls under a "distant" community we may need to contact you regardless of the final checkout. We can then offer a postage price or refund the order.
STATE BY STATE ETAS AND EXPRESS DELIVERIES
Express deliveries are usually the next working day if the order is placed before 10AM Melbourne time. WA and TAS is 3-4 working days.
